Vidal Conde is a lifelong Texan, a proven entrepreneur, and a dedicated advocate for District 1. With a career spanning over three decades—from the industrial hubs of Corpus Christi to the international stages of the PRCA—Vidal brings a unique blend of "boots-on-the-ground" perspective and executive-level regulatory expertise to the 2026 City Council race.
Vidal’s professional journey began as a laborer at Fluor Daniels, where he mastered the grit of refinery turnarounds and industrial construction. This foundational experience evolved into a sophisticated career in maritime and waterfront development. He has successfully navigated the complexities of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, TCEQ regulations, and Joint Evaluation Meetings (JEM) to secure wetland permits and zoning for multi-million dollar ventures like the Mirielle® Condominiums and the Pride of Texas® initiative.
A former professional bull rider and bareback bronc rider, Vidal spent 15 years competing across three continents. That same tenacity translated into the business world, where he founded Bull Blast, organized massive festivals for thousands of attendees, and managed crews of over 70 employees as an industrial foreman. His background also includes bilingual marketing for Fortune 500 companies and a decade in the film industry as a stuntman and actor, working alongside legends like Jet Li and Billy Bob Thornton.
Today, Vidal is focused on the future of Corpus Christi. From developing RV resorts to managing engineered septic designs and environmental permitting, he understands the technical challenges of desalination, tourism, and economic development. Vidal Conde isn’t just a candidate; he is a result-oriented leader ready to cut through red tape and deliver for the constituents of District 1.
